The Chaos Cosmos is updated and now stays on top when working in 3dsmax. This means i can't see any pdf's or emails i have open on my second monitor without minimizing the Cosmos window each time. I would like it if the behavior returned to the way it was with a seperate window.
The Cosmos window was originally just opened in a browser, so was not opened inside 3ds Max. Now it is opened inside 3ds Max, and like any window in Max, if Max has focus then those windows appear on top (think Material Editor, Render Settings, etc.)
More functionality is possible this way. Also, you can still manually open Cosmos in a browser window yourself, see https://docs.chaos.com/display/COSMOS/Chaos+Cosmos+Browser, meaning if you want the old way of working (with any limitations that may come with that in the future, I can't say for sure, but some things such as multi-select import may not be possible from a browser window), it is still currently available.
Since this would limit the usefulness of the Cosmos Window, and since a workaround is still available if you want Cosmos in a browser window, this one is not currently being considered, sorry.
