The online platform for Corona users to submit, vote, and collaborate on creative suggestions.
Right now if we have a problematic scene we need to manually search for the problematic object or shader, the memory breakdown that corona has at the moment is too simple, and it doesnt show that much usefull data, instead Vray has a very robust tool to asses the entire scene memory and time, check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrKFES4PFWU
Just coming back here to plead again for the devs to implement this as soon as is humanly possible. Im sick and tired of having to deconstruct massive scenes to figure out what the problem is on an increasingly frequent basis. Right now i have yet another file where parsing times have gone from 2-3 minutes to over 20 with no changes to the file, or the scene or the camera. When youre on a deadline, stuff like this is insanely frustrating and its all well and good telling us to upload the scene to the support portal when we have issues, but i dont have the time to be waiting days for replies. Genuinely if this doesnt materialize soon ill likely make the switch to Vray.
Honestly I really really hope this comes very soon. Im tired of spending significant portions of time turning hundreds of scene elements on and off to figure out what has all of a sudden caused parsing times to skyrocket. It doesnt even need to be a tool. If corona just printed it to a log file each time even that would be more useful.
