It would be nice to have a color correction integrated inside bitmaps. Since it's a pretty used feature, maybe it's better to have it integrated instead of creating a separate node ervy time you need to adjust colors of a texture.
I cannot think of any strong argument why color correction node(s) shall be moved inside CoronaBitmap. Remember that CoronaColorCorrect can have multiple outputs, how is it going to be handled inside Bitmap? There is Output rollout in Bitmaps which is quite enough for simple tweaks.
