"Zoom to fit" option for the Corona VFB (just like the one that VRay already has)
What I´d love to see is an option that VRay already has which is called "Zoom to fit" in the Framebuffer. Whenever I render an image with Corona in a certain resolution it´s either too small in the framebuffer or it´s already zoomed in so that I c...
Parallax mapping as a displacement alternative. Created from forum thread at https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=26764.0 Also see https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray-for-3ds-max-forums/v-ray-for-3ds-max-wishlist/1205669-native-vray-...
Corona sky Clouds do not currently interact with the improved model volume effect. The horizon is incorrectly cut off and the clouds do not extend the the horizon. It would be great to see these working together properly.
Texture baking is still a desired function in Corona Renderer. I think it is a timely step not to limit your projects to renderings and 3D animations in perfect Corona quality, but also to use the possibility of real-time applications such as augm...
Corona Lights would benefit from the ability to apply and focus a projection map. Ive found myself doing a lot of stage lighting work recently and needing to simulate things like gobos. Currently i cant see a way to achieve a gobo with a corona li...
Independent frame buffer for the in-viewport IR and VFB
It would be convenient if the VFB wouldn't clear when using the viewport IR.This way we can do smaller renderings on the viewport while the VFB remains untouched. This is helpful when working on the final rendering we just want to do a quick persp...
It would be great if the VFB had a live histogram that showed the RGB channels and had alerts built in to show clipping like Adobe Lightrooms. When I shoot with my camera I always use the live histogram and when I do post production I always refer...
Mental ray used to have a light metering tool that could display the light levels hitting a surface. It would be reallt useful for those of us in archviz and design to have a similar method of checking light levels. It could be as simple as a help...
Currently triplanar uses a square mapping, even when the input bitmap is rectangular. The way to deal with this is to manually control the tiling. But it'd be better to have the triplanar map do this automatically by simply adding a check box.
