speed up material preview in the Compact Material Editor

Opening and closing the material editor is still very slow when you have all the materials, I don't know why all the materials have to be rendered again. Isn't there a way to buffer the material preview? 5-10 seconds each time the editor opens is ...

Rainbow in Corona Sky

I was thinking it would be really cool to have the possibility to have physically realistic rainbows in Corona Sky. I don't even know if it'd be feasible, but thanks in advance for considering it :)
